About

Parenting teenagers is hard. From the time my kids have entered double digits, parenting has become exponentially harder. The issues they face, the desire for independence combined with a cocktail of hormones sometimes makes me feel like I am talking to a stranger. Other times, I am so proud of the stance they take on an issue or a situation I could burst.

This dance, this part of the parenting journey that prepares us for letting go, is challenging. I don’t like to walk through challenging times on my own. So, I created this community, this site for moms of tweens/tweens/young adults to have a place to come to for support, encouragement and advice.

Our Mentor Moms are women that I admire who are raising or have raised children through to adulthood and have lived to share about it. Each Monday, we will post articles from around the blogosphere that speak to this stage of parenting.

If you would like to submit a guest post, please click here for more information.

My prayer is that this site will bring hope and encouragement to moms parenting between double digits and the empty nest.

God bless!
